Salami (Bobby) is a smart, sweet, young (1 year old) boy that needs to find the right home to call his own.
He has been known to be reactive to dogs where he shares a fence and to dogs when on leash, but he is such a great dog with a big heart, and he has learned and is continuing to learn how to manage his fears.
He needs a confident handler who can continue his training. He has been living at a training/boarding facility and is making great strides!! See below.
He will complete your family if you can take the lead and continue to work on his confidence and support him by continuing his to help him with his journey!
"Bobby has been spending time at Bass Pro, the park, and on-site. We have been focusing on increasing distractions and having him in more stimulating environments. We are using the small pinch collar, which he responds very well too. Trainers have been strengthening confidence, engagement, and response to obedience commands. His heel is developing nicely and is staying with trainers even in close proximity to other people and dogs. He occasionally needs reminders to maintain heel position while passing dogs that are more excited but is able to settle and brings attention back to trainers. We put him in situations where there were very excited and noisy dogs nearby, trainers heeled Bobby through the group several times and he showed no reactivity. His sits are quick and response to down command is more consistent. He is able to hold stays at 10-20 feet without breaking in low to medium distraction settings. He has been improving recall, comes back enthusiastically with only a little guidance from long line. Bobby is very sweet and brings great energy to training!"

Bonnie Raitt (aka Glenda) is a 3-year-old Mastiff mix that is currently available only as a Foster-To-Adopt due to her recent ACL surgery. We are looking for a home to help her heal her leg and only have limited movement until she is cleared from the veterinarian in about a month. She is house trained and crate trained, will even sleep in the crate at night as long as the door is left open. She will go in on command. This girl appears to have some previous training as she already knows sit, down and "go to bed". She really wants to play, but due to her limited mobility she will need lots of toys and bones to keep her occupied. She has lived with small dogs, but would probably be best with either larger dogs or as an only dog. If other dogs are in the home, she will need to be fed separately as she does not want to share her food.
Once she heals from her surgery, she is going to be a dream dog for someone looking for a large buddy. Bonnie will also need someone home most of the time as she has some separation anxiety. Would be great as a WFH buddy.

Female Dog aged Juvenile.
Meet Rolo, a tough and yet sweet female 7-month-old Shepherd Mix. She came to us in late February emaciated and with several wounds due to living with a dog that was bullying her. We got her medical attention right away and she is healing very well and ready to find her forever home. Despite her previous situation, she would love another canine sibling to play with, but not young children under 10 years. She seems only slightly interested in cats, so we think dog savvy cats would be fine. This girl is very affectionate with people, however, she takes time to warm up to men wearing a hat for some reason. Rolo is good in the crate and working on her house training, doing well if kept on a schedule and not allowed to roam loose too often. We encourage continued training and she loves praise and treats, so should be easy to train. Please come meet this sweet girl and fall in love with her personality and resilience.
